Our women's 3x3 basketball team is one of the two strongest teams in Europe!

From September 5–7, Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, hosted the European Cup in women’s 3x3 basketball, with the participation of our national team. In the group stage, Azerbaijan earned two impressive victories — defeating France 21:16 in the first game and overcoming Ukraine 21:14 in the second — to advance to the quarterfinals as group leaders. In the quarterfinals, our team beat Poland 16:13, and in the semifinals, claimed a historic 21:17 victory over reigning European champions Spain, reaching the final of the European Championship for the first time in our 3x3 basketball history. In the decisive match, Azerbaijan faced the reigning world champions, the Netherlands. Despite a strong performance, our team fell 16:21 and secured the silver medal of the European Championship.

This historic achievement on the European stage is a major success for Azerbaijani basketball. We wholeheartedly congratulate our girls and wish them further victories in future competitions.
