"Neftchi" signed a first as the stage champion of the World Women's Series in 3x3 basketball

  The games of the "Shusha" stage of the World Women's Series were held on June 12-13. On June 12, group games took place, and on June 13, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals took place. In the first 1/4 final game, the Hungarian national team defeated Romania with a score of 21-13 and became the opponent of "Neftchi" in the semi-finals. In the second 1/4 final game, the German team won against the club "G FLOU" (Japan) with a score of 22-16, and in the second semi-final, it was the opponent of the Netherlands team. In the first semi-final game, "Neftchi" club faced the Hungarian national team. "Neftchi" won 15-14 against its opponent at the end of the intense fight and became the first finalist. In the second semi-final game, the Netherlands defeated the German national team with a score of 21-10 and became the opponent of the "Neftchi" club in the final. The "Neftchi" club, which started the final match with a superior score, won the "Shusha" stage with a 20-12 victory over the Netherlands. The most valuable player (MVP) of the final was Derris Carter, an American member of "Neftchi". It should also be noted that "Neftchi" was the first club team to win a stage in the FIBA ​​3x3 Women's Basketball World Series

FIBA Europe Cup Azerbaijani Derby: “Neftçi” Defeats “Absheron Lions”

 On October 29, an Azerbaijani derby took place in Group I of the FIBA Europe Cup. The match between “Absheron Lions” and “Neftchi” was held at the Baku Sports Palace and featured an intense battle on the court. At the end of the game, “Neftçi” claimed a convincing 104–86 victory over their opponents. With this result, “Neftçi” secured their second win in the group stage and moved up to second place in the standings. “Abşeron Lions,” meanwhile, remain at the bottom of the group table.
