Our women's national team entered the "Paris 2024" Olympics by achieving a historic victory in 3x3 basketball!
On April 14, the first qualifying round of 3x3 basketball qualifying for the "Paris 2024" Olympics was concluded in Hong Kong. In the final match of the qualifying round, our 3x3 women's national team won the match against the strong Polish team with a score of 18-17 at the end of the overtime match and qualified for the "Paris - 2024" Olympics. It should be noted that this is a first in the history of team sports of Azerbaijan

On May 14, the 6th game of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) final super series between "Sabah" and "Neftchi" took place. "Sabah" started strong in the match held at the Baku Sports Palace and secured an 83-78 victory over "Neftchi". With this win, "Sabah" defeated "Neftchi" with an overall series score of 4-2 and became the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL 2024/25) champion for the third consecutive time. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the ABL 2024/25 final series was Hassani Gravett from the "Sabah" team.

On May 11, the 5th game of the final super series in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) between "Sabah" and "Neftçi" took place. The game, held at the Baku Sports Palace, saw the "Sabah" players start off strong and ultimately celebrate a 107-89 victory over "Neftçi." With this win, "Sabah" now leads the final series 3-2.
It should be noted that the 6th game of the final series will be played on May 14. The first team to secure four wins in the super series will be crowned the champion of the 2024/25 season of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL).

On May 8, the fourth game of the "Sabah" vs. "Neftçi" final super series took place in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL). The match, held at the Baku Sports Palace, saw "Neftçi" start strong and secure an 84-66 victory over "Sabah". With this win, "Neftchi" tied the overall score in the final series to 2-2.
It should be noted that the fifth game of the final series will be played on May 11. The first team to achieve four victories in the super series will be crowned the champion of the 2024/25 season of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL).
