The winner of the first round of the "ABB Youth Basketball League" in 3x3 basketball is the main team of the Sports Academy

 Matches of the 13th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) were played on January 16–18. The following results were recorded in the games held in Groups “A” and “B”.

Group A

“Ganja” – “Neftchi” (75:77)

“Sabah” – “Sheki” (112:65)

NTD – “Absheron Lions” (93:100)

Group B

“Lankaran” – “Nakhchivan” (75:106)

“Ordu” – “Sarhadchi” (98:82)

“Sumgait” – “Guba” (94:90)

 It should be noted that after 13 rounds, “Absheron Lions”, having played one more game than their rivals, lead Group A. In Group B, the leader is “Ordu”, who continue their campaign without a defeat. The matches of the 14th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) will begin on January 22. In addition, the postponed games from the 11th round — “Sabah” vs. “Neftchi” and NTD vs. “Ganja” — will be played on January 28 and 29, respectively.

 The Round of 16 stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball Cup (2026) took place on January 13–14. On the first matchday, Neftchi defeated Lankaran 86–54, while Guba secured a 105–98 away victory over Nakhchivan. On the second matchday, Sheki, playing in front of their home fans, beat Serhedchi 92–75. Meanwhile, Sumgait claimed a sensational away win, defeating NTD 116–94.

 It should be noted that the quarterfinal matches — Sabah vs Guba, Absheron Lions vs Sheki, Ganja vs Neftchi and Ordu vs Sumgait — will be held at the Baku Sports Palace from February 18 to 22.

 Matches of the 12th round were played between January 8 and 11 in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL). The following results were recorded in the games held in Groups A and B.

Group A

Sabah – NTD (121:76)

Neftchi – Sheki (82:60)

Absheron Lions – Ganja (98:93)

Group B

Guba – Ordu (111:116)

Sarhadchi – Lankaran (69:72)

Nakhchivan – Sumgait (97:80)

 It should be noted that after 12 rounds, Absheron Lions lead Group A, having played one more game than their closest rivals. In Group B, Ordu continue to top the standings with a perfect record. The 13th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) will begin on January 16.
