"Sabah" basketball players started the super series with a victory
On May 20, the first game of the final series between "Sabah" and "Ganja" teams of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) took place at the "Sarhadchi" Sports Center. "Ganja" basketball players, who started the game on top, could not maintain this advantage until the end, and the capital club "Sabah", which made a comeback in the second half, won 71-69 in the end. With this victory, "Sabah" took a 1-0 lead in the series. The second game of the final series will take place on May 22 at 19:30. The most productive basketball players: "Sabah BK" (Anthony Patty - 12 points, 12 rebounds), "Ganja BK" (Collin Turner - 17 points, 11 assists)

On november 6–9, the second round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) began with the matches of the 6th round. The following results were recorded in the matches held in Groups "A" and "B":

FIBA Europe Cup Azerbaijani Derby: “Neftçi” Defeats “Absheron Lions”
On October 29, an Azerbaijani derby took place in Group I of the FIBA Europe Cup. The match between “Absheron Lions” and “Neftchi” was held at the Baku Sports Palace and featured an intense battle on the court. At the end of the game, “Neftçi” claimed a convincing 104–86 victory over their opponents. With this result, “Neftçi” secured their second win in the group stage and moved up to second place in the standings. “Abşeron Lions,” meanwhile, remain at the bottom of the group table. It should be noted that the next encounter between the two Azerbaijani representatives is scheduled for November 19.
