The play-in games of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) took place on April 10–11. The first game of the play-in series was held at the Ganja Sports Palace. The "Ganja" basketball team staged a comeback with just 58 seconds remaining in the game to defeat "Lankaran" 96–92. In the first game of the series between "Absheron" and NTD held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, the home team celebrated an 88–74 victory. In the match between "Ordu" and "Guba", it was the military team that triumphed with a score of 91–83. The "Sumgait" basketball team, playing in front of their home crowd, suffered a 97–123 defeat against "Sarhadchi", falling behind 0–1 in the series. It should be noted that the next games in the play-in series will take place on April 13 and 14. The clubs that win two games first in the series will qualify for the playoffs
