"Sabah", "Neftchi", and "Sheki" clubs advance to the semifinals
On April 21 and 22, the next playoff games of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) took place. At the "Sarhadchi" Sports Center, the local team "Sarhadchi" hosted "Sabah" in the second game of their playoff series. Starting the game actively, "Sabah" secured a 104-77 victory, bringing the series score to 2-0 and advancing to the semifinals. At the Baku Sports Palace, the return game between the capital club "Neftchi" and "Ordu" ended with a comfortable 88-54 win for "Neftchi". They won the series 2-0 and booked their place in the semifinals. At the Sheki Olympic Sports Complex, the local "Sheki" basketball team defeated "Ganja" 85-83 in the decisive game of their playoff series, becoming the next team to reach the semifinals. In the return game of the playoff series, "Absheron" defeated "Nakhchivan" 85-79 and tied the series overall.

"Sabah" started strong in the match held at the Baku Sports Palace and secured an 83-78 victory over "Neftchi". With this win, "Sabah" defeated "Neftchi" with an overall series score of 4-2 and became the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL 2024/25) champion for the third consecutive time. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the ABL 2024/25 final series was Hassani Gravett from the "Sabah" team.
