Round 9 of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) concludes: NTD claim first regular-season win
Games of round 9 of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) were held from december 11 to 14. The following results were recorded in the games played in Groups A and B:
Group A
NTD vs. Sheki – 93:79
Absheron Lions vs. Neftchi – 88:72
Group B
Lankaran vs. Guba – 87:95
Nakhchivan vs. Serhedchi – 90:74
Sumgait vs. Ordu – 86:106
After nine rounds, "Sabah" and "Ordu" lead Groups A and B respectively with a perfect record. It should be noted that the round 9 match between "Sabah and "Ganja" has been postponed due to Sabah’s game against Alba Berlin in the Basketball Champions League, which will take place in Germany on december 16.

On May 5, the third game of the final series between "Sabah" and "Absheron Lions" was held in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL). On April 29, the first game of the final series between "Sabah" and "Absheron Lions" was held in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL). "Sabah" basketball players, who managed to come back from the 3rd period of the game, eventually won 98:93, making the total score in the super series 1:0.
