The 8th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League has started

 On January 21, the drawing ceremony of the Azerbaijan Basketball Cup (2025) took place in the conference hall of the Baku Sports Palace. The rules of the cup include the presence of 2 local basketball players on the field and the determination of the results of all meetings by one game.  The last games of the 11th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) were held on January 18 and 19. On January 18, two games of "A" group and one of "B" group took place at "Sarhadchi" Sports Center. NTD-"Absheron" (87-77), "Nakhchivan"-"Neftchi" (63-73), "Ordu"-"Sumgait" (89-82).
