The event summarizing the sports achievements of the year, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has taken place. During the event, winners of the year in various categories were awarded. It is particularly delightful that our basketball teams were among the winners. Based on the voting results, the Azerbaijani women's national team in 3x3 basketball and the "Neftchi" sports club in 3x3 basketball were selected as the second-best women’s national and club teams of the year, respectively. We wholeheartedly congratulate our girls and wish them success in future competitions

On May 14, the 6th game of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) final super series between "Sabah" and "Neftchi" took place. "Sabah" started strong in the match held at the Baku Sports Palace and secured an 83-78 victory over "Neftchi". With this win, "Sabah" defeated "Neftchi" with an overall series score of 4-2 and became the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL 2024/25) champion for the third consecutive time. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the ABL 2024/25 final series was Hassani Gravett from the "Sabah" team.

On May 11, the 5th game of the final super series in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) between "Sabah" and "Neftçi" took place. The game, held at the Baku Sports Palace, saw the "Sabah" players start off strong and ultimately celebrate a 107-89 victory over "Neftçi." With this win, "Sabah" now leads the final series 3-2.
It should be noted that the 6th game of the final series will be played on May 14. The first team to secure four wins in the super series will be crowned the champion of the 2024/25 season of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL).

The match, held at the Baku Sports Palace, saw "Neftçi" start strong and secure an 84-66 victory over "Sabah". With this win, "Neftchi" tied the overall score in the final series to 2-2.
It should be noted that the fifth game of the final series will be played on May 11. The first team to achieve four victories in the super series will be crowned the champion of the 2024/25 season of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL).
