"Neftchi" is a four-time winner of the Women's World Series





The Debrecen round of the 3x3 Women's Basketball World Series organized in Hungary on August 27-28 has ended. "Neftchi" first won the group games against the Ukrainian national team 22-6, and the U-24 USA team with a score of 21-9. In the 1/4 finals, "Neftchi" won against the Hungarian club "Gyor" 20-18, and in the semi-finals against the Hungarian national team with a score of 22-14, and qualified for the finals. Our representative "Neftchi" met the German club "Düsseldorf Zoos" in the final game. "Neftchi" started the game better, won the Debretsen stage without losing any match, winning 21-10 in the end. Bryana Fraser, a member of the "Neftchi" club, was selected as the most valuable player (MVP) of the Debrecen stage. With this championship, "Neftchi" won the stage for the 4th time in the World Women's Series

On July 13, our U-18 women’s national team played their final match in the European Championship division B. Competing for 11th–12th place, our team was defeated by Luxembourg with a score of 54:67, finishing the tournament in 12th place out of 21 participating countries. Considering all results, securing a spot among the top 12 teams in division B is a notable achievement for women’s basketball in our country. We congratulate our girls for their determined performance in their first-ever appearance in the European Championship division B and wish them continued success in upcoming competitions.

In a tense and competitive game, our girls secured a hard-fought 75–72 victory over Denmark. With this win, they have officially claimed a spot among the top 12 teams in the tournament.
