Our girls won their first victory in their debut European Championship
Today, Azerbaijan’s U-16 women’s national basketball team earned its first victory at the FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship Division B, held in Istanbul, Turkey. Our team celebrated a 64:62 win over Ireland in the classification round. The top scorer of the match was Aylin Akbarzade with 21 points. It should be noted that, as the youngest team of the championship, this victory can be considered a successful result in our squad’s debut tournament.

"Sarhadchi" - "Nakhchivan" (80:93)
"Lankaran" - "Ganja" (77:101)
"Sumgait" - NTD (88:95)
After these results, all clubs that qualified for the play-off (1/4 finals) in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) have been determined. The series in the play-off are as follows.
