Winners determined in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 girls basketball leagues
On June 10, the finals and third-place matches of the U-12, U-14 and U-16 girls basketball leagues were held at the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Technical University. In the U-12 league final, the IOEUGIM-8 team defeated the “AzStars” club with a score of 48–31 to become the champions. The “Birlik” club secured third place in the league by defeating “Ganja” with a score of 29–18. In the U-14 league final, the AAAF club claimed the championship by defeating “Ganja” 59–22. IOEUGIM-8 earned third place by beating “Jalilabad” with a score of 55–26. In the U-16 league final, the “AzStars” club secured the championship title by defeating IOEUGIM-8 with a dominant 74–32 win. The third-place match saw “Ganja” defeat the AAAF team 45–41 to claim the bronze medal. Following the decisive matches, an award ceremony was held. Trophies and medals were presented by the head coach of the national women's team Evren Alkaya, the head coach of the U-16 girls national team Ferhat Akcan and the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Referees Committee Alakbar Hasanov.

Members of our national team will represent our country in the USA !
Six members of the Azerbaijan women's national basketball team have received official offers from various educational institutions and basketball academies in the United States. Starting this coming season, they will continue both their education and sports careers in the US. These transitions will allow our national team members to gain valuable experience in the world's leading basketball system, develop their individual skills, and reach new heights on the international stage. The experience they gain overseas is expected to make a significant contribution to the future development of Azerbaijani basketball.

Our women's European Championship Division B games have concluded.
On August 9, our U-18 girls' national team faced Norway in the European Championship Division B game held in Tulcea, Romania, for 17-20th places. Our national team defeated its opponent in its last game of the championship with a score of 77:48. The most valuable basketball player (MVP) of the match was our national team member Polina Shchukina with 25 points and 22 rebounds. This victory was our national team's third consecutive victory. Our girls had previously defeated the North Macedonian team 75:73 and the Estonian team 74:71.
It should be noted that our U-18 women's national team, which concluded its performance in the European Championship Division B, finished the championship in 17th place among 20 teams
