The event of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF) regarding the report of the last season and the opening of the new season took place

 Matches of the 17th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) were held on February 11–14. The following results were recorded in Groups A and B.

Group A

“Ganja” – “Absheron Lions” 71:81

“Sheki” – “Neftchi” 77:93

NTD – “Sabah” 87:103

Group B

“Lankaran” – “Sarhadchi” 69:83

“Sumgait” – “Nakhchivan” 107:110

“Ordu” – “Guba” 98:87

 It should be noted that after 17 rounds, “Sabah” are the sole leaders of Group A, while “Ordu” lead Group B. With three rounds remaining until the end of the regular season, the military side have officially secured the Group B championship title.

 The matches of Round 16 of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) were held from February 4 to 8. The following results were recorded in the games played in Groups A and B:

Group A

Ganja vs. NTD — 104:85

Sheki vs. Absheron Lions — 85:92

Neftchi vs. Sabah — 79:98

Group B

Sumgait vs. Lankaran — 102:77

Guba vs. Sarhadchi — 97:89

Nakhchivan vs. Ordu — 92:95

 After 16 rounds, Sabah remain the sole leaders of Group A, while Ordu hold sole leadership in Group B. The matches of Round 17 of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) will begin on February 11.

 From January 29 to February 1, the matches of the 15th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) were held. With these games, the third stage of the championship has come to an end. The following results were recorded in the matches played in Groups A and B.

Group A

Ganja – Sheki (95:80)

Absheron Lions – Sabah (96:117)

NTD – Neftchi (82:98)

Group B

Lankaran – Ordu (63:103)

Sumgayit – Serhedchi (94:98)

Nakhchivan – Guba (82:70)

 It should be noted that after 15 rounds, Sabah is the sole leader of Group A, while Ordu is the sole leader of Group B. The matches of the 16th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) will start on February 4.
