Our women's national team is in the semi-finals of the European Championship
The group games of our national team in the "C" division of the European basketball championship among 16-year-old girls in Andorra have ended. Our team, placed in Group B, defeated the Andorra national team 64-50 in the first game of the group, the Moldovan national team 78-55 in the second game, and the Albanian national team 69-64 in the last game and qualified for the semi-finals of the European Championship as the group leader. The opponent of our girls' national team in the semi-finals will be the Georgian team. The game will take place on July 22 at 21:30 Baku time and will be broadcast live on the official "youtube" account of FIBA

The second quarter of the ABL has started: the leaders of groups "A" and "B" have completed the 6th round without a loss
On november 6–9, the second round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) began with the matches of the 6th round. The following results were recorded in the matches held in Groups "A" and "B":

"Sheki" - "Absheron Lions" (79:104)

"Lankaran" - "Sumgait" (94:98)

FIBA Europe Cup Azerbaijani Derby: “Neftçi” Defeats “Absheron Lions”
On October 29, an Azerbaijani derby took place in Group I of the FIBA Europe Cup. The match between “Absheron Lions” and “Neftchi” was held at the Baku Sports Palace and featured an intense battle on the court. At the end of the game, “Neftçi” claimed a convincing 104–86 victory over their opponents. With this result, “Neftçi” secured their second win in the group stage and moved up to second place in the standings. “Abşeron Lions,” meanwhile, remain at the bottom of the group table. It should be noted that the next encounter between the two Azerbaijani representatives is scheduled for November 19.
