Winners have been determined in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 Youth Basketball Leagues
On June 15, the final and third-place matches of the Youth Basketball League for U-12, U-14, and U-16 boys age categories were held at the Azerbaijan Technical University sports hall.
In the U-12 age category final, the "Baku Ballzone" team defeated "Meteor F-Basket" with a score of 35-26 to become champions. "Aztop Jr" claimed third place in the same category by narrowly beating "Garadagh" 27-25.
In the U-14 final, "Baku Ballzone" secured the championship with a dominant 82-59 victory over Baku Basketball Academy (BBA). RIOEUGIM-2 defeated UGIM-9 with a close score of 61-58 to take third place.
In the U-16 final match, RIOEUGIM-2 emerged as champions with a commanding 93-69 win over IOEUGIM-8. The UGIM-10 team secured third place after a 78-54 win against "Torpaq" club.
Following the decisive matches, an award ceremony was held. Trophies and medals were presented by Turgay Zeytingoz Sports Director of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF), Urfan Bayramli a FIBA-certified referee and Erhan Toker head coach of the U-16 national boys team.

In the 5th place classification game, our team defeated Moldova with a score of 79:72, securing 5th place in the tournament. Our girls have concluded their debut in the European Championship Division B with a successful performance
On July 13, our U-18 women’s national team played their final match in the European Championship division B. Competing for 11th–12th place, our team was defeated by Luxembourg with a score of 54:67, finishing the tournament in 12th place out of 21 participating countries. Considering all results, securing a spot among the top 12 teams in division B is a notable achievement for women’s basketball in our country. We congratulate our girls for their determined performance in their first-ever appearance in the European Championship division B and wish them continued success in upcoming competitions.

In a tense and competitive game, our girls secured a hard-fought 75–72 victory over Denmark. With this win, they have officially claimed a spot among the top 12 teams in the tournament.
